The only difference in that is that the setting and events beyond the cats' control are told entirely by the narrator (in most cases me), and all NPCs will also be done by the narrator.īasically, if you're at all interested in Dungeons & Dragons but have never played before, the Warriors Adventure Game is a pretty good introduction into the basic idea of D&D, just simplified quite a bit and (of course) with cats.Īs for plot, the idea I currently have (at least for our first "mission") is that perhaps our characters are a Clan that was forced out of their old territory and has to journey to find a new one. Of course, besides the skill checks and such, the rest of the roleplay would be akin to the rest- conversations between characters and simple interactions would just be roleplayed as normal. You can find the full gameplay guide on the official Warrior's site under "Games and Extras." You make a character who has a character sheet with your cat's skills and such, and perform skill checks to see if you succeed or fail at certain actions. If you haven't played the Warriors Adventure Game, it's basically Dungeons & Dragons with cats and (thankfully) simplified quite a bit. I thought it might be fun to do a roleplay that used the Warriors Adventure Game system, rather than being a usual roleplay.
